The Central Michigan Emergency Network (CMEN) repeater on 147.220 MHz with a positive offset and a tone of 131.8 Hz is on the air. This is the repeater for which MARC donated to help get it on the air. The antenna for the repeater was recently placed at the 400 ft! level at the top of the tower in the Bullock Creek area organized by Jeff, KB8SWR, with some assistance by Jack, K8GTG; Max, KE8DON; and Mike, KD8MMH on the ropes. The hard work part was done by two courageous climbers who had their sense of fear surgically removed!
You can read more about the repeater and some awesome drone pictures taken by Jack on the discord server under #CMEN.
