Field Day Update:

We conducted a “wet” dress rehearsal and while we made a ton of progress, we left with some work ahead for us but are in a good position.
First, we have confirmed and built our logging system, based on the N3FJP Field Day Software. We built the logging server and validated our network, based on Starlink Mini. We will have three PC logging stations for our three main operating positions. This took a bit of time and special thanks to Mitch, W8DOD, for figuring out the magic incantation to get it all working!
We verified a Worked map that will be displayed by our logging server to show sections that have been worked during the event.
We have verified setup and position of two of our antennas, quarter-wave Vertical and OCF Dipole. We ran an RBN test on the Dipole and found an interesting (international) pattern on 20m with reasonable 40m and 15m coverage. Alas, no CW hits on 10m.
We will need to set up a table for the 3rd operating position under the pavilion.
We setup the Yaesu 891 and verified its functionality in cw mode.
Big miss of the day was the oversight of a HDMI to HDMI-mini connector/adapter that prevented functionality of one of the logging monitors (this has been addressed).
